Window Cleaning Wear and Tear Policy
At Keen 2 Clean, we take great care to provide a high-quality window cleaning service using safe, professional techniques and equipment. However, it’s important to understand that window cleaning is a physical process that involves contact between cleaning materials and glass surfaces.
Over time, all windows naturally undergo wear and tear due to environmental exposure such as weathering, sunlight, oxidation, pollution, and previous cleaning or maintenance methods. As dirt, grime, and mineral deposits are removed, existing imperfections — including scratches, stains, worn seals, or weakened frames — may become more visible.
While our team always works with care to protect your property, we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any deterioration, scratching, or visible defects that arise as part of the normal cleaning process. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Existing marks, scratches, or imperfections that become more noticeable after cleaning
• Deterioration of old, oxidised, or previously damaged window frames
• Damage or weakness caused by prior work, poor maintenance, or environmental exposure
• Due to the presence of dust or fine debris on glass surfaces, microscopic abrasions or hairline scratches may occasionally occur during the cleaning process. This is a natural result of friction between cleaning materials and the glass surface and is considered an unavoidable aspect of proper window maintenance.
• Any wear and tear consistent with the regular ageing of glass or associated materials
Our goal is to leave your windows as clean and clear as possible, but due to the nature of the service,
some degree of wear and tear is unavoidable. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept this natural process and agree that Keen2Clean will not be held liable for cosmetic or structural issues related to normal wear and tear.
Re-Clean Policy
Customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not fully satisfied with the cleaning we have performed, we are happy to return free of charge to re-clean the affected area — provided that you notify us within 48 hours of the initial clean.
Please note, however, that new marks or spots caused by bird droppings, weather conditions, or other external factors occurring after our visit are not covered under this policy. In such cases, a new service appointment may be required.
